The simple pleasure of watching the robotic trucks that wander our city street casually consume our residential refuse.
The joys of knowing the detritus of my personal economic activity keeps those machines employed and well fed.
But do they work for us, in taking the trash, or do we work for them, in producing it?
(Yes, I'm aware it's just some guys in a truck but the fiction helps me get through the day, and it's still fun to watch the arm lift the cans)
@DebyFredericks NOT a diva moment.
We didn't wait. My wife's laminator is probably one of the most important pieces of kit at home for her classroom. And they're mostly digital down here.
They should be given all of you one, and lamination sheets to go with it.
@WhiteRose
my grandfather brought a coconut back from visiting family in Puerto Rico when I was 3. I remember getting sick from it. And the 46 years since, I just never got over it.
And living in Virginia Beach, let's just say it's hard to get away from the smell of it in the summer.
@WhiteRose
Just one?
Coconut
At a certain level I am waiting for my email to again become a useful tool.

I'm really not all that interesting, unless you consider the coffee-fueled mania that is the day-to-day struggle of my love affair with data interesting.
