I have family near there. My sister has half her neighborhood's lawn furniture in her yard.
@DisasterOracle sister is in the development across from the east side of the mall near there. Blocked roads and at least 1 house missing a roof.
Not having a good night up there.
@butch she's good though? No damage?
@DisasterOracle just clean up. She's very lucky.
I dunno. That looks like the stock photo from the Bucks County Patch website.
The one in Bensalem was very rain wrapped. I never got a clear shot on any traffic cams.
@butch Might be though. There's now conflicting reports from media that there might have been two separate ones.
"Sisters" as it were.
NWS Mt. Holly will investigate in the morning, and NBC10 is going to roll with using helicopters.
@DisasterOracle People are starting to calm down, only to start freaking out when they realize how far the stuff in their yards came from.
So, I can understand stock photos starting to make rounds.
We might be seeing best case scenario. Injury reports are minor. I haven't seen anything on the hospital SURGE reports with any increases in trauma so I'm pretty pleased.
@butch injuries are minor per an on scene Trauma Doc I'm friends with.
@DisasterOracle @butch 🙏 It seems we're more & more at the mercy of the weather. We can only hope everyone comes out ok when storms & other disasters strike.
Hoping 🙏your family stays safe & that house will be ok??
I saw the storms on radar; showed high rotation in that area. I thought ' just a strong thunderstorm; no tornados hit there'. Normally I'd follow up, but was only looking to see if headed my way. Not on my game lately; had I logged in here earlier, I'd have seen the alert!
@butch see my post of the other side of that building.
