In particular, I enjoy when it highlights erasure of lesbian/gay relationships from ancient times or the last hundred or so years (I know, weird pairing). Not bc of the erasure, of course, but bc I love that they failed to erase the truth, that we still know.

That said, I don't think I've ever seen ppl pretend gay/lesbian relationships are a recent fad; they mostly target trans ppl as "trendy".

The monarchy is an outdated institution, that's spending an obscene amount of money on the coronation that could help the people of their country.

I’m finally ready to break w/a best friend who wasn’t able to make the transition from me being able-bodied & able minded to disabled w/cognitive & speech impediments.
She’s so smart, I thought she’d adjust, as I did when she had kids - but as I read up on ableism, I’ve become too aware I’ve been excusing so much of it & feeling privately hurt - for yrs now.
I’ve tried to talk abt it w/her, but I can’t get thru to her that it’s actually real - even tho she was there for all my brain surgeries.
