It seems weird to me for people to post political things on LinkedIn. Even when it’s things I agree with I still cringe and avoid commenting.

It's bad when it's people I know IRL in that conversation. Like, having to remember that while I would talk abut such things with them IRL, the "professional" environment is not the place for it.
@bmacmixer: I didn't know LinkedIn was still a thing, though neither Twitter nor Facebook really are anymore either but are still functioning.

I've had to remind myself several times NOT to respond to that over there. It's bad enough the scammer have free run of the place, and that it's rapidly devolving into a basic social media site rather than a place for professional connections. But showing your whole ass on main? bad move.
