@mikeflstfi I know you build custom watches and I think you can fix/restore to some extent correct? Any experience with early electronic watches? My grandfathers old quartz analog Timex is gorgeous, but despite new battery it ticks for a few minutes and stops. Might be the mechanism needs lube? I'd love you to fix it if that's in your wheelhouse?

@bfgreen
I have very little experience with quartz movements but it does sound like it might need a service.

I would hate to make it worse, so before I say yes let me look at what’s involved.

Can you send me a picture of the case back so I can try to determine the model?

@mikeflstfi you bet. And pls don't feel you have to do something you are not comfortable with. I'll send a pic tomorrow. Appreciate you at least considering it.

@bfgreen
You’re welcome. Let’s see what’s what and we’ll decide 👍🏼

@mikeflstfi there is no model number on the back of this one. TBH - it's probably not worth the cost it would take to ship and fix it.

@bfgreen
That’s a nice looking item. Btw - I’ve been doing research on yours just to see how fiddly that quartz movement is.
