I watch a lot of BookTube during slow times at work.
The ones I watch primarily fall into two categories:
Folks in their 20s: They read for diversity, their videos have heightened color, great sound, and snappy editing.
Folks in their 50s and 60s: They read a mix of classics and pulp, the lighting is blown out, you can barely hear them, and you're lucky if they remember to brush their hair.
I am determined to get these tow circles to overlap and get them to sub to each other's channels.
