@thewebrecluse interesting. My Garmin tracks many of the same data points also via HRV. I bought it to track stress levels after getting shingles a year ago. I found my body is under stress from nerve damage even while I sleep. Impressed by your 2+ hours of deep sleep!
@thewebrecluse sorry to hear about the #chronicillness - fascinated by the Oura ring. Always wondered how long the battery lasted. It took me years to convince myself to get a "smart" watch because I hated the thought of constantly charging it. My Garmin lasts 30+ days on a single charge and had solar to help top up.
@bfgreen Battery lasts a week and a few days. Takes about an hour to charge fully.
@bfgreen Yes the Oura isn't so much new on the data side ... but many people can't wear watches (like myself) so I had to look for an alternative and I like rings. I've had an Oura since their Gen 1 (2017). Great device and stellar data. I think most of the #healthtracking devices these days use the same algos just in different packaging. Comes down to how much info you want to have really. My body and stress damage are old friends #chronicillness will do that though.
