yikes, could armageddon be worse than a series of such hurricanes? the season is not over.
@holon42 @Museek as someone who has lived a long while on or near the Atlantic, don't worry -- hurricanes do this. I mean yeah it's terrible, they are monumentally huge storms. Last one I was even a little near laid two big oak trees down alongside the house, neat as pins. House unharmed. Probably a small tornado or big microburst.
@holon42 fully agree. The storms seem more energetic and the paths seem weird, though I'd want to really dig into the historical data

it's clouding over here in 🇨🇦ontario, overflow from Milton. we had Helene's overflow too.
nothing in comparison of course, but some pretty torrential rains and continuous lightning arrays.

one right after another like this makes me very anxious, the season is not over, and ocean temperatures are high🆘

it doesn't bode well for the future of our species.
