@Madken65 Just to say, Rhiannon Giddens is a whole other thing. She's pulling from the banjos African roots, updating with some Appalachia/American South/Indigenous heritage. Two Grammys, co-wrote an opera that got the Pulitzer Prize for Music, much more.
