@yogapaddlerun Oh no! I wonder why? Possibly warmer weather? 🤷 We have quite the mole problem over here; have had for the past two years. I've never seen this many moles in my life. At least they stay outside!
@janallmac I’m not sure, but I’ve had this house ten years now. Always have an occasional mouse in the fall, but not constant mice.
@yogapaddlerun Is there a source of food for them that you can remove? Are they getting into pet food? If so, a metal lidded can for that might help.
I understand why, but cringe when I hear about people calling in the pros. Usually means poison, resulting in that traveling up the food chain (to owls and other wild predators who eat the dead mice.)
@CJLavoie @janallmac Understand your concern. But poison is a no-go for me. (Toxicologist) I would like the pros to review the exterior of my house to minimize intrusion.

I moved into a rental with a lot of mice, especially with cold weather. Couldn't really intervene outside nor get a cat. Stuffed either steel wool or polyurethane spray foam into every pipe intrusion, gap in moulding, obvious other hole. Had to pull out the dishwasher, fridge, crawl under sink. Worked though; they were still in the house but nowhere I could see. YMMV
