Hey DC still has cicadas but the news cycle has moved on so we can't talk about cicadas.
Do you also have those cicada egg eating itch mites I've been hearing about?

Those are scary looking!
The mites you can't see, but apparently they are worse than swarms of mosquitos for biting people and making them welt up. So be careful not to linger around oaks that were/are cicada-heavy.
