@Vonzales Former Ambassador to Russia, Michael McFaul said most Russians outside of the cities live in the 19th century.
Russians from rural areas, fighting in Ukraine, sent stolen sinks & toilets home, thinking having such fixtures would equal having indoor plumbing.
Mother Russia keeps her children ignorant and impoverished.

This January 18 #WaPo article suggests that Bragg is concerned about what Pomerantz will reveal. Bragg's office sent Pomerantz and his publisher a letter claiming they need the DA's permission to publish. (2/2)

@StonedElf It was a 3 hour trip, each way for us, in good weather. Winter was hell at best and questionable mostly. Finally told the spouse that we needed to get a room & spread that out over 2 days.

@MindfulWilliam I was nervous about that happening. Probably not space aliens. Maybe cannibalism? Slipped out the liquid collection bin? I am unsure how often I should change the cheesecloth between the bottom tray and the liquid collection bin. Probably need to do that.

This clip doesn't include the part at the end where she reports that Mark Pomerantz, one of the two attorneys who quit the DA's office in protest last year, has a tell-all book coming out on Monday, which may explain why DA Alvin Bragg suddenly is motivated to move ahead with prosecuting Trump. I’m shocked, SHOCKED, that Florida Republicans don’t want offshore oil drilling off the coast of Florida — just off other states.
This is just how childish and hypocritical Republicans in Congress are.

@zim2918 I know people who have volunteered at Horse Rescues who refer to 'the heavenly herd' when a beloved equine resident has to be gently put down. 'They will meet their old friends in the Heavenly herd' is how volunteers comfort themselves when there is a loss. Saving this photo for when one of them loses a horse. Thanks for posting.

So funny, I had a guy phoning me up from SCB it's a statistical investigation thingy here in Sweden. Anyway one of the questions was when did I wake up yesterday. I said not at all. He got confused. I said I got up the day before yesterday. He got confused as he was reading from a script & there was no answer for not getting up at all. Finally I told him: How about we lie & say I got out of bed at 22.30. He was happy about that. So next time you refer to statistic remember that everybody lies
