#Politics From last night's #Rachel #Maddow ... This clip doesn't include the part at the end where she reports that Mark Pomerantz, one of the two attorneys who quit the DA's office in protest last year, has a tell-all book coming out on Monday, which may explain why DA Alvin Bragg suddenly is motivated to move ahead with prosecuting Trump. @WordsmithFL
I hate this trend of having to buy a book just to find out what the government is up to. That's what newspapers and the news used to do, for free or 50¢.
I especially hate having to buy a book written by a crook, like all those DJT "insiders". I'll be damned if I put money in their pockets.
@Jeber I feel the same ... Thankfully, Rachel is on the case.
#Maddow said that Pomerantz will be on #60Minutes on Sunday, then will appear live on her show next Monday.
This January 18 #WaPo article suggests that Bragg is concerned about what Pomerantz will reveal. Bragg's office sent Pomerantz and his publisher a letter claiming they need the DA's permission to publish. (2/2)
