So I had been for a long time discussed with the bird site.
I finely gave it up on #DeactiDay, (11/18/18). Went looking for alternatives, found mastodon, joined a few instances, some that were worse than the BS, none that were welcoming. In fact all were exclusive, attention seeking, buckets of self aggrandizement. Walked slowly away. I turned back on my blog, and started writing there.

I really don't remember where I first heard about coso, some blog somewhere. But I thought, why not I will give it a try. That first day, In fact within minutes, I was welcomed by many, helped find my way around by many, laughed out loud, told a story about myself that got lots of laughs, and generally loved into being here. This is the very first place on the net ( in 2 decades) that I use my real name. I felt that comfortable.

It has remained full of interesting people, good music, laughs, and just a good place to hang out. This place rocks ! What I do most here is share links. I love to do this. It seems like people like it. I also write a bit about Buddhism, or whatever pops into my head. The bottom line is J built this sandbox, and we get to play in it. I am humbled, by the writing here, I am humbled by the care I have received.
