CoSonauts, here’s a tiny thread on a great story within a story.
Saturday night: I jump on the invite to hang around w/frens in J’s vast VR apt. I trial ’n error my way in, am flying through all 1st fl rooms, Yay.
Awesome. I discover the wine rack, pick up a Chardonnay at perfect temp, gulp-gulp, Yay.
Next, I want to go upstairs. No success, I keep hitting the ceiling, I fall under the stairs, what a mess, my avatar’s all bruises now.

So, here’s the story:
1. This may be VR but what’s inside is Very Real Fun & Friendship
2. The creativity and capabilities we have here on CoSo are amazing and unique
3. J’s apartment rocks
4. When you fall down the stairs, CoSonauts will pick you up

Don't give up. The VR place is too awesome to give up. It's just getting used to a few moves. If I can do it, anyone can do it. You'll see. It's a beautiful world out there.

I may just sneak back into J's apartment when I know he's out, so I can trip on the stairs with out any witnesses

@artemis How does one pick up a chablis? Am I missing out on manipulating objects? I've only ever wandered in CoSoRealms.

My tipsy attempts don’t go unnoticed and now @daniel is pulling from upstairs, @th3j35t3r is pushing from downstairs, I get advice on WASD, (wut? I never read instructions), ok, and get tips about using the f finger, lol, aha, ok, I may get it now.
Eventually, I get my keystrokes aligned and smoothly find my way upstairs, Vatican gate and all. Niiiice. All ends well & happy. (read on)
