@VelvetDuchess @apetrusk Nice! I'm only half joking. I keep a tally each year of the savings I achieve from what my dad taught me, last year it was a considerable sum. i already put a disposal in this year, there's the first entry of 2023.

Rhetorical question of course. The people who want to cut the programs like to lean heavily on the lie that social security is a big drain on taxes when it's less than 1% of the annual budget.
@apetrusk The hypocrisy is glaring. I have a right-wing uncle, very far right WW2 vet. Always crying about socialism. The thing is? His son is mentally ill and has only survived the human experience because of "socialism". Just like MTG taking a ppp loan while spewing about runaway spending.
