Scheduled my first 4 shifts at the shelter. Mostly Saturday or Sunday afternoons for now.

Wonder what spouse will think of the room divider I bought that was delivered today while he’s out getting groceries?
I needed some sort of barrier between me and the kitchen/dining area if he doesn’t want to share the office/spare room.

The roads are gross but easily made it to Dr office & currently waiting for my appointment.
Planning to stop at Starbucks and bring spouse a coffee treat since he’s home today.

It’s snowing ❄️ I guess now I actually have to buy a new winter coat on Saturday.

Supervisor keeps mentioning my supervisor who is out on medical leave for cancer treatment as “when W. Comes back..” but no one knows for sure when or even IF she’s ever coming back.

This gloomy rainy-will-turn-to-snow-tonight weather has me wanting to take a nap.

I’m excited to start being a cat socialized at the shelter. So many lovely sweeties that need love and homes. Hubs better be careful, I might come home with a feline friend.

2024 gonna be the year of concerts.
Going to try to get Blink182 tickets tomorrow for a show in August. Already have Foo Fighters tickets for July.

Eeeeee I get to do orientation with the shelter for the cat area :D
