Ope, the clouds have dispersed and the sun is shining. Nevermind.

Bedding almost done being washed, two work projects completed, now onto another while I longingly look outside at the overcast weather that is ideal for curling up on the couch and watching movies.

Oh boy there’s weather comin’. 15 minutes ago the sky was orangey-gray and now it’s dark gray with rumbles.

Going into the office today then to a work sponsored employee bowling event after work. It’s nice the company does these for remote workers to be able to spend time together.

Trying to talk my sisters into going to Dropkick Murphy’s next month but it’s “too peopley and too loud”

Grilled pork chops and roasted delicata squash for dinner. Spouse is headed out tomorrow to help his dad with some yard/house maintenance while step-mom is away.

The guy on Instagram or TikTok or whatever who does the “things to say to men to piss them off” is great. That amused me today.

Boss: “Here’s a big project for you to work on! It should keep you busy”
Me: *completes 80% of project in one day*

Hence I am stopping for a latte at Caribou after my appointment this morning.

I went to a coffee shop and the cashier gave me the runaround when trying to order & pay and the manager started yelling at me for not having a gift card. Then I got pushed to the end of the line. I never got the coffee I ordered. That was a weird dream.

Off to get my meds refilled… and maybe ask about discontinuing sertraline. We’ll see.

Oh boy. Careful what you wish for indeed. In a meeting yesterday I mentioned I was running low on work. Signed on this morning to an email about a project that hasn’t been worked since May and needs catching up.

Got a notification that my Passport is supposed to arrive tomorrow 😁

Program froze and now even Task Manager won’t respond? Huh.

Sister2 went with dad to his doctor appt today so someone gets the true story because dad lies and only repeats what he wanted to hear.

Apparently dad hasn’t been taking ANY of his meds. Not his metformin, atorvastatin, nothing 🤬 more evidence he needs to be in managed care. He can’t remember anything.

Our leftovers are pretty great. For lunch today I had duck leg confit and saffron risotto.

Received a text this morning from coworker at old job to let me know I might get a call for a reference check for a job application she submitted with the VA. Happy for her considering other options. I think she’s tired of office and company drama.

Scheduled my Covid vaccine for Saturday morning. ✔️
