Husband made his last student loan payment today. He has felt like he has been stuck in life due to having $700 monthly payments. I’m excited for him to be able to put it in the past and be able to have more financial freedom.

Sounds like dad is having a better day though but he’s doing stupid shit like calling mom’s cellphone (who is at her own dr appt & MRI) from the dining hall to come bring him back to his room after lunch. We need to remind mom to protect her mental health & say No and for dad to ask the people he’s paying for help to help him.

Dad’s having a rough evening. Not sure if he’s tired or what. I think he’s super anxious about being in a new place and worried but also the staff there need to see how severe of care he needs and get to know him. They signed DNR/DNI paperwork today which makes me think he could take a turn at any point. Might choke on puke and die 🤷🏻‍♀️ it is what it is. He’s said he’s “ready to go” for a few years now. I just hope when his time comes it’s peaceful. I plan to go see him Saturday.

Ireland was good. It’s good to be home. Work has been busy with mandatory OT.
Dad will be moving into an assisted living facility this Thursday. We got him into the facility we wanted him to be in where he will have a good view and good care. They have enough to private pay until he can apply for financial help.
The next task is to get mom on the waiting list for a 1br1ba apartment instead of the 2br2ba townhouse 🤞🏼

One more group dinner to get through and of course I feel bloated and icky.

Tonight is the last night for half of us on tour. The rest of us are staying along for the extension to Killarney Monday-Wednesday, flying back on Thursday out of Dublin.
I will feel better once this head cold leaves my head/sinuses. I swear the wind must have kicked up pollen or something else because we are all sniffly and sneezy.

Not a lot worse than a head cold on vacation. Yuck.
