Dad’s having a rough evening. Not sure if he’s tired or what. I think he’s super anxious about being in a new place and worried but also the staff there need to see how severe of care he needs and get to know him. They signed DNR/DNI paperwork today which makes me think he could take a turn at any point. Might choke on puke and die 🤷🏻♀️ it is what it is. He’s said he’s “ready to go” for a few years now. I just hope when his time comes it’s peaceful. I plan to go see him Saturday.
Sounds like dad is having a better day though but he’s doing stupid shit like calling mom’s cellphone (who is at her own dr appt & MRI) from the dining hall to come bring him back to his room after lunch. We need to remind mom to protect her mental health & say No and for dad to ask the people he’s paying for help to help him.
