Dinner: grilled pork chops, ricotta gnocchi slightly pan seared with a sage & walnut pesto, and peas.

Aronia berries aka choke berries. High in antioxidants. Tastes like a cross between a blueberry & a chokecherry without any sweetness or dry/tartness. Bought a bottle or Aronia berry wine.

Slept on sister’s couch last night because it was way more comfortable than the hard twin bed in niece’s old room. Nephew’s 2yr old golden retriever kept trying to lick my hand & arm though

I wasn’t so sure about the sage & walnut pesto recipe because I’ve never heard of using sage this way but it turned out SO very delicious!

Morning helicopter grand canyon tour was great. We both really enjoyed it.

Went down to Fremont for some food & walking around to check things out a bit.
Spouse brought binoculars so we’ve been entertaining ourselves in the room people watching and checking out various sights.

Mmmm beef vindaloo with zucchini & peas added because it’s a fridge clean out meal 😋
