This is pretty damn cool. My MIL went in for surgery and the hospital sends auto texts to keep loved ones abreast of where they are in the procedure. It's beneficial for both sides.

My husband was in the same hospital for his 4+ hour spinal surgery & I didn't get it then (2-4 years ago).
I was pleasantly surprised to receive it!
