You might be lucky: if you can see ice in the unit (looking down theough the top), turning it off and letting that melt can revive it. While that's happening I'd look at the register filters, clean or replace.
@b4cks4w @stueytheround we plan to mention it to the leasing office. It’s not even 25°C/80°F and it’s quite warm in our place. The unit is at least 8-10 years old and gets a lot of use.
@annamuneca Might just need coolant topping up. Probably not cheap, but less than a new unit.
