I"m here. lurking for now. seeing what's what. I guess I treat this like twitter without the security issues?
@Anemone I've had my twitter accts since '09 but didn't do anything until recently. mostly news retweet/tweet. I'm getting more comfortable conversing online. I hate online misunderstandings so that's why I'm usually just a lurker :)
@amongmadpeeps Sounds like me on twitter. There since '09 also, I use it to obtain news, not to generate it. When I joined CoSo I had no idea what it would be like. I have posted over 25,000 toots - having conversations with real people, sharing news, views, music, jokes, concern, caring, art, science, on and on. Lurking is okay but I don't recommend it here, jump in and you'll understand CoSo so much faster. Enjoy!

I'm not sure how you experience twitter, but I think you'll find this place is more like a community sharing info, thoughts, laughs, and conversation. We care about each other and work to maintain civility and perspective. And, it works! It's awesome here.
