@nonayadambidnes he bankrupted the family (four generations) cabinet making business of a good friend of mine. The company employed about 45 people and they all lost their jobs because of Trump and his lawyers. Killed their business while he was building casinos in Atlantic City.

@JV3MJD if anything were to happen to DonOld, they could just replace him with Frank Costanza from Seinfeld and not miss a beat.

@DevinY1 I saw this article this afternoon. I think it could be a major driving force in this election cycle.

What is it with right wing extremists and dogs? Are the Trump and Vance claims just more projection?

@Pat_Walrond it's amazing to me that I can recall, with such detail, so many memories from over sixty years ago.

When I was a kid in the mid sixties, my working Mother would save a few dollars off her paycheck every week and she’d treat me and my kid sister to a trip to the Jersey shore. We’d go a bus in Philly and in less than three hours we’d arrive in Wildwood. One guest house where we stayed bragged that Woodrow Wilson slept there. I was back in Wildwood this weekend and looked up the place. It’s still standing but is now the towns Civic Center. Miss my Mom.

@danialexis great thread. Learn something new every day here.

They're not running a campaign to get individual votes from Americans. They don't want you to vote and they'll suppress it any way they can. Republicans are perverting our elections. If the Democrats can overcome this treachery (House and Senate) they need to start playing hardball with how our elections are run. We need to begin seeing that Party that is fine with disenfranchising voters every step of the way. The Electoral College needs to go.

A great history-based look at the Electoral College by Dr. Richardson. It's important that we all understand what this means. Our elections have become instruments of giving more power to a candidate that isn't popularly elected. It's time for a change so that everyone's vote counts equally.

@Klaatu_Veratta_Nectarine The Republican's War on Women continues. Tiring disenfranchisement bullshit.

@DevinY1 she's going to be a great President - super capable.

@DevinY1 the level of compassion that she has demonstrated since the convention has been stellar. Few politicians can project that embedded quality quite as well. It's not just the joy - there's more there than just blind optimism.

This is worth a watch. It's compelling and it speaks to women's rights that have been obliterated as a result of Trump and his party.

The young woman that spoke at the convention so eloquently about her abuse at the hands of her father was in attendance and her interaction with Harris provoked tears. A young woman from Apalachee High School who was shot in the arm just weeks ago was also there. Her story, told in partnership with her mother, was moving. A mother who lost her younger daughter to Georgia's strict abortion ban appeared with her other two daughters. Not a dry eye in the hall or with anyone with a heart.
