Trump's lawyers and his pet judge stalled and appealed and stalled and stalled over the Jack Smith case, and now that Smith is preparing to submit almost 200 pages of arguments, they're saying "Well now it's too close to the election." 😡
It reminds me of a story I read once about people who Trump hired to do work and then didn't pay, he'd just have his lawyers mess around until they ran out of money and dropped the lawsuits.

@nonayadambidnes he bankrupted the family (four generations) cabinet making business of a good friend of mine. The company employed about 45 people and they all lost their jobs because of Trump and his lawyers. Killed their business while he was building casinos in Atlantic City.
@altucker What a shame. It seems like the only people who make money in Trump's orbit are his lawyers. And some of them don't get paid either. 🤬
