@DavidSalo a number of very important speeches given this afternoon. Wish I had known this was on the calendar. It's in my backyard. Thanks for sharing this link.
@Agatha isn't it wonderful? But it's not mean - just real.
Who doesn't love a funny and warm obituary? This guy's son did a bang up job. Wonder if he'll write mine?

@feloneouscat just read this quote from Charles Pierce in Esquire re. WDJT disc jockey:
"Strangest goddamn political moment I’ve ever seen. It’s like we were all there in the White House, watching Nixon talk to the pictures on the wall."
@mikeharmanos the numbers are staggering. I still think Trumpublicans don't trust early or mail-in voting.
The WaPo is finally asking questions about Trump's mental acquity. Late in the game I think.
@Copacetic_vibe now forget you ever saw this. Gotta Vote!
"Slurring, Trump then said: “Let’s not do any more questions. Let’s just listen to music."
And then he stood on stage and swayed for 39 minutes of songs from his personal playlist before seeming to recall that he was supposed to be talking about the election, which he suddenly told the confused crowd was “the most important election in the history of our country” before turning back to the music."

@Kinnison you'd think the Trumplicans would pick one of Pennsylvania's many homegrown nuts. Dr. Oz was the same thing.
It isn’t immigrants who are ruining the USA. I’m not fearful of the people who pick fruits, vegetables and take jobs that most Americans won’t touch, and who can barely get by. We know who pumps out lies, smears and bullshyt propaganda 24/7. It’s immigrants like Murdoch, Musk and Peter Thiel who are ruining our country.

@MakerWerks I've made two donations back in August and I'm inundated with requests from Harris and every Democrat running for office. It's a bit much. I deleted over 230 texts yesterday that have accumulated over the past month and a half. We have technology that should be able to regulate that kind of volume.
"This is Trump's America, where people who are trying to participate in democracy and serve the public become targets for threats and violence if it serves Trump to call his mob on them. First it was public health experts during a pandemic, then poll workers during an election. Now it's FEMA workers following two devastating hurricanes."
