@LnzyHou I sure hope that nature intervenes Lindsay!
The normalization of Trump as a candidate for this nation's office is a rerun from past elections. I just cancelled my Washington Post subscription due to another puff piece written to discourage voters from taking part in this country's most important election ever. Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.

Things Republicans Said This Year. - This column by Joyce Vance really only touches the surface and is in no way complete.

@DJNoneYa thanks - unreal they don't even need to be a resident of the area they're trying to Represent.
@DJNoneYa how did she establish residency requirements in time to do this? I suppose wherever her popcorn box is sitting at any given moment is where she's from.
@Abyss1992 it's several hours after this story broke and the Washington Post has nothing on this so far. How is that possible? This is a really important story!
@Wbtphdjd @johnldeboer we just have to make certain that efforts to disenfranchise voters are unsuccessful and that we all show up at the polls.
@nursefrombirth every single one of these women deserved to have life threatening situations treated by medical professionals - not Supreme Court Justices and State House representatives. The cruelty is breathtaking.
Meet 18 women who shared heartbreaking pregnancy journeys in post-Roe world
In a monthslong investigation, 18 women from across 10 states shared their deeply personal stories, chronicling their heartbreaking journeys and how, in some cases, they were brought to the brink of death because they couldn't access timely care in their home states.
These are their stories.
@LauraKCurtis yes - ignorance is terribly hateful and dangerous. I just don't understand how anyone can't see the inherent damage they're causing to other humans.
The right's War against Women needs to be stressed every day. We cannot accept parsed healthcare for over half our population. This poor woman lost her wanted child and now a grand jury is pondering whether she'll be fined and imprisoned. So disgusting.

@GrazingintheGrass it's only a crime if his grandkids are not Supreme Court Justices.
No woman or man should have to beg the state of Texas for healthcare. How this attorney general still isn't in prison is baffling. It's all about the cruelty. Shame on them all.

A generation ago, Sarah Palin and the Republicans lied to the American public, falsely claiming that the Affordable Care Act would create "death panels" to decide who would be worthy of life-saving health care.
Republicans tend to project their own sins upon others , and now we see the true "death panels" are in Texas.
Kate Cox was told yesterday by the Texas Supreme Court she couldn't have a life-saving abortion because she couldn't prove she'd otherwise die.
@Coctaanatis well, they're representing someone - just not one of their constituents. Pathetic - as always.
@Cosmichomicide as a Bucks County resident, I couldn't love this any more than I already do. Thanks for sharing this!
@Lulz4l1f3 why give that site oxygen?
Flew in from that other place. Very Glad to be here, people are central to social media that works.
