@jenebene @jenebene thanks - the quilt was a running joke between the two of us for over thirty years. I'd joke with her about adding it to her weekly to do lists. She just never got the time to complete it - she got an advanced degree, started her own company and we traveled a lot together. I never really looked at just how close she was to being done. I didn't realize how beautiful it was until she was gone and I knew it had to be finished at that point.

When a crafter passes away mid-project, or is no longer able to carry on due to illness, they will likely have a few unfinished items layng around. They may even have projects they were making for friends or family which may become lost, donated or thrown away.
The Loose Ends Project aims to match unfinished projects with volunteer finishers who complete and return the project to the intended loved one.

@redenigma wow, what a great idea! Bless you folks! My late wife had a quilt that she was working on when we met fortysome years ago. She was going to finish it when she retired and never got to do so before she passed. I found a local quilter to finish it for me. It's something I'll always treasure.

This is what Saturday night has become since I got a puppy about 6 weeks ago. She is totally absorbed by YouTube’s Dog and Cat channel and will spend hours watching squirrel and bird drama. It’s hysterical. When the sun comes up she’s outside watching birds and squirrels IRL. Amazing focus.

@galaxsee76 the upside is they're wasting a bucket load of money preaching to people that have been drinking and won't really be paying to a Jesus commercial too much. Most folks know Jesus doesn't do commercials. At least not the Jesus I know.
