I spent the morning learning about SVGs & how to best convert images to that format. Never had to do it before. Interesting. Some of my work is too detailed to effectively be converted, but I'm okay with that. Example: my painting 'Exuberance'.

LNS - (learn new stuff) Good for the aging gray matter, right?

@VictoriaLandis1 Beautiful painting! Are you working with cutting these SVGs with a Cricut? I've been working with vector graphics software to create them.

@altucker

Yes, I'm adapting some designs as printables for my Etsy shop. I don't have a Critcut. Just beginning to understand the market the cutting machines have created.

I've been using GIMP for almost 15 years & today I downloaded InkSpace to learn.

@VictoriaLandis1 with the bright saturated colors in your work, you might want to look into dye sublimation printers and a heat press. I've been playing with my photography with dye sub and made all my holiday gifts that way this past December. These are coasters I made from pics I took of street art in Ireland.

@VictoriaLandis1 you might want to subscribe to this guy's YouTube channel - lots of great ideas for your Etsy.
