Judge Cannon is a good example of why life tenure is a problem for federal judges. She knows she has no legal basis to even ask about the use of an investigative tool outside of her jurisdiction. That Judge Chutkan runs a fair and swift trial. Making little room for a legitimate appeal. May all appeals fail, and the TFG is remanded to federal custody.
