The ships belong to a NATO force called NATO SNMG1, it is a standing naval force that NATO has in the Baltic Sea. The force has been on exercise Northern Coast 23 and after the exercise a port visit is made to replenish fuel and food on the ships.
The ships come from a few different European countries, so in the harbor there is a Danish, French, Italian, Dutch ship and two German ones.

One Danish, one French and one Italian. During Saturday, six large NATO warships slipped past Västra hamnen to dock inside Frihamnen, writes Skånska Dagbladet, which was the first to report on the ships.
