If the grow lights are more or less standard, the UV is minimal.
Fish have eyes too.

At least that is what I would expect.
I don't understand the eyewear shown on the website at all.

I've been thinking about getting some of the fish that grow in the rice irrigation water. They are notoriously hard to kill.

I just set up this 125 gallon aquarium last April.
I added the Coleus on top about a week ago.
I'm using some fairly weak grow-lites but new shoots are appearing already.

It has become fairly popular to put the roots of houseplants in aquariums where they remove a good amount of the nitrates and nitrites from the water which is beneficial to the fish.

I think my main experience with this kind of disgusting nasty stuff is mainly with having to replace the submersible pump motor in a sewerage ejector pump/sump.
It is concentrated nastiness most times and not very pleasant, but it has to be done and the plumber gets it worse than I do.

So, for me, a matter of perspective.
