That pretty much sums it up, although as a teacher in 1999, I myust note that such a salary would have been only for the most senior of teachers with extensive graduate credentials/degrees and 20 or 30 years of experience in the best paying districts.
And yes, that salary is spot on for that same teacher 25 years later, while the house is probably much more in many districts.
