Watching this shit TRANSPARENTLY go to the Christian-Trumpist grift, using his Artful Doger and Gish Gallop routines in the most SHALLOW ways was eye-opening.
The man is an obvious con, a sex predator, a grifter, and people loved it. His shallow actions, his sheer contempt for his audience, AND their enthusiasm showed me things were even dumber than I thought.
And I had LOW expectations.
2024 seems like the year that all the grifters came together to form one big super-grift with every piece of charlatanry thrown in. Getting back for all the times somebody ever told them "Sounds like a whole lot of hot bullsh*t to me" which admittedly must be a lot of times.
@DavidSalo I think we hit a kind of critical bullshit level lately. Nothing is about anything, all business is disconnected from the customer, and the ecosystem is crashing while we burn it down with AI so we can make bad porn.
