Matt Gaetz resigned from Congress yesterday just before the House releases its investigative report into his activities with underage women. Now they can't kick him out, only refer the report to #DOJ -- which he will run, if confirmed.
It's up now to the Republican-led Senate to keep Gaetz out of the attorney general's office, otherwise the investigation goes away.
“It’s going to be a golden era for Musk with #Trump in the White House,” Wedbush Securities analyst Dan Ives said.
Personal comment: The #DOGE commission appears to be a scam. The "report" isn't due until July 2026, and it's only recommendations that Congress would have to take up. It's going nowhere.
