The 32nd anniversary of #Hurricane #Andrew is coming up on August 24.
Bryan Norcross, at the time the meteorologist for WTVJ in Miami, is recounting his memories of Andrew coverage.
Four days earlier (32 years ago today), they had no idea if Andrew would be a thing.

I've listened to Stephanie Miller for decades. She was part of the Air America experiment decades ago that produced Rachel Maddow, Al Franken, and others (Ed Schultz 🙄 ). Stephie is to progressive talk radio what Rachel is to MSNBC.

Comment ... It talks a lot about tax cuts for the poor and middle class. No mention in the article about how to pay for it. As a one-time municipal budget guy, this always gnaws at me -- both parties cut taxes for their constituencies, but no one wants to pay for it.
The federal government is the only level that can run a debt. We by law had to balance our budgets, which meant tough choices.
