This week, we've had the hottest days in recorded history.
Last night, I watched a classic Twilight Zone episode, "Midnight Sun." Earth's orbit has shifted; the planet is getting closer to the sun. Temperatures are hotter and hotter.
Serling depicted this week, back in 1961.

Idle thought ... If #Biden had won a second term, he'd be term limited.
With #Harris running, if she wins then she has two terms, potentially, giving the Dems a possible three straight terms.
Although I suppose one could argue Biden two terms, Harris two terms, but four straight terms for the Dems (or GOP) would be fairly unprecedented, other than the FDR years.

My wife told me she got a text from one of her #MAGA friends claiming #Biden is "gravely ill" and that #Harris was on her way to Delaware to assume the presidency.
I told her, "That's nonsense. Kamala is going to Wilmington to meet with the Biden campaign staff. That was announced earlier today."

Out and about here in #Trump Central ... I passed two pickup trucks at different places driving down the road flying Trump flags.
The Trump roadside stand around the corner still has no business, but since the shooting attempt it's been flying the US flag upside down atop its pole of Trump flags.
The fence down the road still has lots of Democratic banners, but they haven't swapped out the #Biden 2024 banner yet. A work in progress, I guess.
