Because ... #Florida ... We ordered a portable solar generator today.
Florida has an annual two-week sales tax holiday in early June to encourage people to buy hurricane survival supplies. We've always wanted a generator, but the solar ones have been very expensive.
This one is on sale, with solar panels included, and no sales tax, so it seems like a good deal.
The main purpose is to keep the refrigerator working, especially if we evacuate.

I've seen these roadside stands throughout Brevard County and wondered what is the business model. One has to think that they buy this crap wholesale from #Trump for retail. If you can't sell TRUMP 2024 I'LL BE BACK flags in this county, you can't sell them at all. (2/2)
#Politics I've mentioned that someone has set up a roadside #Trump souvenir stand around the corner. The trailer filled with merchandise is parked in the front yard of a house with windows boarded up and stripped cars on blocks in the driveway.
Yesterday I noticed the trailer had a pink sign with a handwritten message that the inventory was now for sale.
Today I saw a second trailer with someone who I guess bought the goods. His trailer's sign read, "TRUMP 2024 THE REVENGE TOUR." (1/2)

#ULA has resolved the anomaly with the upper-stage valve sensors and has resumed topping off of the propellant tanks. Still targeting 12:25 PM EDT for launch.

#ULA says they've re-established topping of the liquid oxygen tank on the upper stage, now working the liquid hydrogen. They still have about 80 minutes until launch time.

The speculation is that the problem is not with the O2 or LH2 valves, but with "instrumentation" monitoring the valves. There's talk about a "redundant" monitoring system. In the meantime, #ULA is not topping off the tanks because they can't monitor them.
