Most defendants would admit guilt, show remorse, plead for mercy, etc.

No way Trump will do that.

He will call the judge corrupt, claim #Biden is behind all this, say the trial was rigged, complain that the courtroom is an icebox, ad nauseam.

The judge notes that can change.

That means the Trump defense team called only two witnesses -- one was a legal aide in Blanche's office, the other was Costello who was hostile to everyone and got admonished by the judge. Trump will be lucky if he doesn't get the death sentence.
