#SpaceX postponed the Polaris Dawn launch from #KSC due to rough seas downrange in the potential recovery area should Dragon have to abort. That allowed the Starlink launch to proceed at #CCSFS. The #Falcon9 burst into flames upon landing on the drone ship, toppled over and exploded.

SpaceX postponed another F9 launch at Vandenberg to study what happened.

#SpaceX is attempting two #Falcon9 #Starlink launches this morning from the #SpaceCoast. As of this post, their website says 8:50 AM EDT for LC-40 and 9:03 AM EDT for LC-39A. Since this is unlikely, we'll have to wait and see how it plays out.

The #BlueOrigin #NewGlenn test article arrived in town a couple days ago. They were practicing with it today at Port Canaveral. As does #SpaceX, Blue plans to return New Glenn on a ship to the port, then lift it out of the water for reuse.

BREAKING From Bill Harwood of #CBSNews:

Something is wrong with the Northrop Grumman #Cygnus that launched earlier today on a #SpaceX #Falcon9 from #CCSFS.

Mission control just alerted the ISS crew to a possible issue with the Cygnus cargo ship: "Just to let you guys know, good comm with Cygnus, we're going to have solar array deploy in about an hour. The first two burns were not performed by Cygnus, so they're re-assessing what's the current state of the burn plan."

#NASA held a telecon this afternoon to discuss tomorrow's scheduled Cygnus commercial cargo flight to #ISS (weather permitting).

They used the briefing to debunk the rumors swirling about the #Boeing #Starliner #CFT crew having to return on a #SpaceX crew #Dragon.

The recent study was in case Tracy Dyson (who launched on #Soyuz) had to come home on Dragon. NASA is *not* sending Dragon suits to the #CFT astronauts on tomorrow's flight. They'd need the suits to come home on Dragon.
