From : This is a standard practice in the political industry. Most radio hosts haven't the first clue what to ask. The politician's representative will provide the media outlet with suggested questions.

This is no different from the entertainment industry, where media hosts are provided questions to ask the star they have for two minutes.

The host easily could have ignored the suggested questions. She didn't. That's why she got fired.

Funny how the mainstream media keep telling us that far-right politicians and causes inevitably are going to win, only to be proven wrong.

"Flares were lit and people on the streets chanted 'everyone hates fascists.'"

The left-wing New Popular Front (NFP) is projected to beat the far-right National Rally (RN) party in today's parliamentary elections.

"I'd vote for Biden's head in a jar of formaldehyde before voting for Trump."

From David Corn at :

"Before proceeding, letโ€™s note that under Democratic rules, there is no way for the party at this point to deny its presidential nomination. He holds a majority of delegates to next monthโ€™s convention in Chicago, and they are pledged to vote for him. For anything else to happen, Biden would have to withdraw from the race. If he sticks with it, the rest of this what-iffing is irrelevant."

More from in May 2012:

"Some key Democrats say they have been dismayed watching Obama become a divider not a uniter, trying to incite anger among women, students and older voters. Itโ€™s striking how, in private conversations with Obama advisers, they openly talk of chucking the feel-good politics of 2008 for a very conventional form of political warfare this time around."

from in May 2012:

"Obama, not Mitt Romney, is the one with the muddled message โ€” and the one who often comes across as baldly political. Obama, not Romney, is the one facing blowback from his own party on the central issue of the campaign so far โ€” Romneyโ€™s history with Bain Capital. And most remarkably, Obama, not Romney, is the one falling behind in fundraising."

Harvard poll from December 2011:

A new national poll of Americaโ€™s 18- to 29-year-olds by the Institute of Politics (IOP) at the Harvard Kennedy School finds more millennials predict President Barack Obama will lose his bid for re-election (36 percent) than win (30 percent).

from 2010:

"The Democrats' overwhelming defeat in the midterm elections leaves President Obama with difficult choices ahead. Patrick Caddell has some advice: He should declare himself a one-term president, and spend the remainder of his time in the White House focusing on national problems, not campaigning."

Overall, I thought Biden did a solid job. Stephanopoulos did all he could to trip him up, but he didn't.

Biden kept coming back to his accomplishments and his intimate friendships with world leaders. Trump doesn't have that.

Stephanopoulos kept coming back to, "You're old." Biden kept coming back to his track record, what he stands for, and what Trump represents. That's it in a nutshell.

Stephanopoulos concludes by saying they also offered an interview to . He declined.

Pundit now pontificating that the interview did not calm anyone and raised new concerns. I'm done with this.

Biden says the "discontent" is coming from the press, not Democrats. Says that Schumer, Jeffries, Pelosi support him; they talk all the time, they've never expressed any concern.

Stephanopoulos keeps throwing hypotheticals at him; Biden finally has enough and says "I'm not going to answer that."

Stephanopoulos asks if it will be harder to run against this time.

"Not when you're running against a pathological liar."

Stephanopoulos says "you're falling further behind." Biden replies that polling isn't as reliable as it used to be, which Stephanopoulos acknowledges, but notes polls in battleground states. "I carried a lot of Democrats the last time I ran in 2020." Also recalls the so-called "red wave" in 2022 that never materialized.
