Total number of registered active Republican voters: 594,533
Total number of votes cast in the caucus: 110,298
Total number of votes for : 56,260 (51% of votes cast)

Only 18.6% of Republicans turned out last night. Barely more than half of them voted for Trump.

Much ado about nothing.

A caucus is a test of a candidate's ability to get supporters to turn out at a local meeting hall. Some recent winners:

2008 Mike Huckabee
2012 Rick Santorum
2016 Ted Cruz

The NH primary has picked the eventual GOP nominee the last five elections, but NH is a small rural state.

Just don't get worked up like the media do about IA and NH.
