Re the Manhattan DA charges ... Some have argued there's no felony because Bragg is linking to a federal election.

However, there was a STATE election on April 19, 2016, the NY GOP presidential primary. GOP voters were selecting who to send to the convention.

That's in the middle of the DA's timeline. The doorman had already been paid off.

My question is, could the felony link be to the state primary election, which makes it of state interest?
