A comment about today's stock market downturn ... These corrections happen all the time. It's been too good for too long. Some people panicked today and lost money because of it.
Most likely, wiser investors will buy up these cheaper stocks in the days ahead. The economy simply is too healthy to assume there's going to be a recession or worse.
In fact, many times these economic numbers get corrected in a month or two, and it turns out everything is okay.

The stock market must go up, because the rich have to put their increasing riches somewhere: they can't possibly spend it all. Anyone or any entity who has less than $200 million or so in stock is simply riding the on the backs of the giants.
@WordsmithFL I made some purchases. I'm not a big investor but I live for days like this.
@Pitizenlyn Most of my 401(k)s are in mutual funds, although because of my age much of it is in low-risk and guaranteed rate investments. I checked this morning; I lost yesterday less than 1% of what I had invested. Glad you saw it for what it is, just a correction.
@WordsmithFL This is how the greedy and corrupt manipulate the markets in order to fuel their disease. Elites playing with the world's stability.
Sure let's create money and allow 1% to horde the wealth. What could possibly go wrong?🤷♂️ 🤬
