A House hearing is about to start on, "The Mineral Supply Chain and the New Space Race." Oddly enough, it's not the House space subcommittee, but the oversight committee's subcommittee on natural resource. Trumpist whackadoo Paul Gosar chairs the overall committee, so I'm curious why this subcommittee is holding this hearing.

Oh swell, whack-a-doo Paul Gosar is chairing this hearing. Let's see how long this takes to swirl around the drain.

He's starting off with China and Russia trying to "control life on Earth."

Turned it off. Gosar is ranting about forcing us to buy electric cars which is enslaving us to foreign markets. I have better things to do with my day ... 🙄

@poemblaze I know one of the panelists, which is how I heard of this hearing. We travel in the same NewSpace circles, but his politics align with MAGA, so I've steered away from him. I suspect he was involved in setting up this hearing, since he and Gosar are from Arizona.

It's a worthwhile topic, but it belongs over on the House Science and Space Committee. The Oversight Committee won't be taken seriously.
