Gym Jordan is winning over Republican holdouts. He might be within 10-20 by the time the House speaker vote is held tomorrow at 12 PM EDT.
My impression is that he's falling back on good old-fashioned party tribalism. Stuff needs to be done, he has more support than anyone else in the party, vote for him and let's move on.
Keep in mind that *anyone* -- R or D -- can call for a vacate vote. So Jordan might not last long if he goes off the rails.

@Lulz4l1f3 Yes, but I was out of characters. That's why I posted the link.๐
10-20 is a LOT. McCarthy had to sign over his testicles for fewer than that.
@Cosmichomicide A day or two ago, it was 50+. I just think people shouldn't be taking for granted he's going to lose, that's all.
Oh, I have every confidence that if "subtle" strong arming doesn't work, the recalcitrant representatives will find they need security for themselves and their families when their info "leaks" to the mob.
I don't doubt they may cave. Just that J6 Jim is a much bigger and crazier pill to swallow than Kevin.
@WordsmithFL If that clown gets the gavel every single day needs to open with a new motion to vacate.
@WordsmithFL you left out that hold-outs are being threatened.
