Consider the source ... says House GOP will move to expel Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) if the House Ethics Committee investigation finds him guilty.

The article says you need a 2/3 vote to expel.

Maybe that's why McCarthy defied Gaetz. He thinks the ethics committee has the goods.

@KGinKS In Florida ... probably yes.

I mentioned upstream that, during his first Senate run, Rubio was on the ropes due to a credit card scandal. He was living high on the hog off his Florida GOP credit card. But the state GOP circled the wagons rather than expose his corruption.

I'm surprised the credit card scandal doesn't come up.
