Would you rather have the power to pause time for everyone but yourself, though you age twice as fast each time you do it, or be able to travel back in time by one day at a time but lose a random memory with each trip?
I would take the first option. Freeze everyone for a year and do as I wish then unfreeze. The time during the pause is the aging time so if you age one year it'd be like two years.
