Froggy Blues and Silly Shoes
There once was a frog named Fred,
Who sat by the pond, feeling blue instead,
His lily pad was oh so wide,
But he had no friends to share the ride.
He croaked a tune, all sad and slow,
Watching the bubbles come and go,
But then he found some silly shoes,
Bright red flippers that chased away his blues!
He hopped and flopped with a goofy grin,
Splashing about with a joyful spin,
His lonely frown turned upside down,
As he danced like the silliest frog in town!
Soon the bugs and fish gathered ‘round,
To watch the froggy who found his sound,
And Fred, once lonely, now had a crew,
All because of those silly shoes, too!
